Happy Birthday to me!

Yesterday was my birthday.  I celebrated by wearing my brand new shirt (thanks Kim!) to my first day at my new job.  Mostly I sat around at work - I don't have any tasks yet and everyone else is busy with a new software rollout.

After work I went out and ate myself into a sushi coma.  Seriously - I went to one of my favorite sushi restaurants in town and ate until I couldn't eat any more.  I had California rolls, BBQ eel rolls, a Yummy-yummy roll (salmon and yellow fin tuna) and more.  So much good stuff.  I even got Kim to try a few pieces!  The girl who doesn't like to eat anything new tried sushi!  And admitted to liking what she had!  Plus, because we had to wait such a long time for them to bring out the sushi (actually, it wasn't an unusually long time but they brought out Kim's teryaki shrimp dish way too early) they gave us a free dessert.  So we had the fried banana - topped with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.  Delicious.

Then I went home and passed out early - overfull from all the food and tired from getting up at 6:30 to make it to work on time.
